Portland's Rose City Brass Quintet comes to Beall Hall for a program of brass quintet touchstones, presented as the doctoral recital of trumpeter Joseph Klause.

The evening opens with "Spin," written for the ensemble by Oregon composer Dana Reason, and continues with Michael Tilson Thomas's "Street Song," Anders Hillborg's "Brass Quintet," David Sampson's "Morning Music," and Eugène Bozza's "Sonatine."

RCBQ is Logan Brown and Joseph Klause, trumpets; Daniel Partridge, horn; Lars Campbell, trombone; and JáTtik Clark, principal tuba of the Oregon Symphony.
